Duties Help Performs varying degrees of complexity in cleaning processes for facility to include but not limited to lodging units, common areas, office, bhhouse, laundry facility, etc. Demonstres proficiency reled to daily service, checkout, deep cleaning, and special project cleaning assignments based on program cleaning standards. Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors; dusts, polishes, cleans, and moves furniture. Cleans walls, doors, ceilings, stand-up/ceiling fans, light fixtures, exterior of air vents, windows, sills, tracks, blinds and curtains. Removes trash, places in dumpsters, and replaces liners. Cleans washers and dryers and ensures machines are operional. Cleans common area spaces to include bhhouses, vending rooms and ice machines, laundry rooms, elevors, break rooms, walkways, corridors, stairwells, office spaces, lounges, storerooms and storage spaces. Places proper number of amenities in room to include consumables/non-consumables, linen, kitchen, and bhroom. Removes and replaces bed linen, inspects mtresses and pull-out sofas, and moves/re-positions beds upon guest checkout, weekly, or a guest's request. . Cleans coffee makers, ice buckets, beverage kits, refrigerors, stove tops, cookware, utensils, cutlery, cups/glasses, ples, sinks, counters, ovens, ranges, cupboards, drawers, and microwaves to include proper programming of its respective clock/time. Ensures dishwashers are clean and in working condition. Cleans vanities, mirrors, hardware, cabinets/shelving, toilets, bh tubs/shower stalls, tile, and bhroom exhaust fans. Replaces bhroom terry and linens to include shower curtains. Cleans irons, removes excess wer and replaces as necessary, cleans ironing boards and replaces covers as necessary, cleans and ensures proper functionality of luggage racks and ensures proper numbers of clean male/female hangers are available in closets. Ensures in-room guest directories are clean and organized; TVs are clean and programmed to proper channel and volume; alarm clocks are properly programmed with back-up btery and in room phones are clean, properly programmed, and in working condition. Performs deep cleaning as required by program standards (e.g., on a scheduled basis and upon check-out of guests in "pet friendly" rooms and in rooms th had an ADA service animal), which includes, but is not limited to: defrosting the refrigeror, cleaning windows (inside and out), replacing and/or cleaning drapes, moving furniture and cleaning normally hidden areas, carpet cleaning (shampoo and/or spot trement), cleaning walls/woodwork, and other such tasks. Counts, sorts, inspects, and prepares linen for operional use. Applies Blood Borne Phogen criteria to determine potential safety concerns reled to contamined linens and applies approprie NGIS protocols during daily service activity. Completes maintenance requests for items broken, defective, or in need of replacing. Performs basic, routine maintenance on vacuum cleaners by cleaning all areas and replacing filters as necessary. Maintains the cleanliness, inventory, and organizion of housekeeping carts and linen carts. Reports any damages or valuables (e.g. large amounts of cash, jewelry, or confidential/sensitive informion) left out in the open by guests to the supervisor. Reports any activity th appears unsafe, illegal, or suspicious to the supervisor. Interacts professionally with guests and other team members, displays a positive titude, utilizes effective communicion skills, and assists guests to include answering questions concerning hotel facilities and provides informion about on base and local tractions. Communices with the front desk when identifying lost and found items by annoting all relevant informion to facilite retrieval of the item for th specific guest. Maintains key control for assigned key and reports any issues immediely to the supervisor. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigion. Background Investigions are conducted using fingerprint identificion and completion of background inquiry forms. Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verificion check. This position may be designed ALPHA personnel for inclement weher or in the interest of nional security and may be required to report for work when other employees are excused. Must have ability to perform moderely strenuous physical labor as unassisted lifting, moving and carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds is required. Assisted lifting, moving and carrying in excess of 45 pounds may be required. May be required to climb/descend stairs and properly placed stepladders. Qualificions Able to apply general knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved, commonly used chemicals (including MSDS) and adherence to basic safety policies is required.
