Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your dedication ensures that every guest experiences comfort, cleanliness, and a sense of home during their stay. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience while honing your skills in hospitality and janitorial services. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall cleanliness standards. Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, and supplies to ensure guest needs are consistently met. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when using chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Support the housekeeping management team with inventory control and supply management to optimize operational efficiency. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care—including carpet cleaning and polishing—and custodial practices. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus; previous housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
