Beer Server / Taproom Attendant Position Overview We're looking for an outgoing, energetic, and personable Beer Server / Taproom Attendant to join our team. This role is centered around delivering a great guest experience—welcoming people in, talking beer, and creating a clean, inviting environment that keeps guests coming back. If you enjoy engaging with people, have a passion for craft beer and alternative fermentations (mead, hard seltzers, etc.), and take pride in maintaining a high-quality space, this is a strong fit. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests in the taproom Serve beer and other beverages responsibly in compliance with California regulations Engage guests in conversation about beer styles, flavor profiles, and offerings Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately Taproom Operations & Cleanliness Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming taproom at all times Clean and sanitize: Bar tops, service stations, and guest areas Tables, seating, and high-touch surfaces Restrooms (including restocking supplies throughout shift) Wash, sanitize, and properly store all glassware using standard procedures Clean draft equipment components as directed (tap handles, drip trays, etc.) Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general facility upkeep Bar & Service Support Restock beer, glassware, and service supplies throughout shift Assist with keg changes and basic draft system awareness (as trained) Support opening and closing duties, including full station breakdown and reset Monitor product levels and communicate low inventory to management Maintain proper labeling, rotation, and handling of all products Guest Experience & Brand Representation Create a fun, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for guests Assist with small events, tastings, and busy service periods Represent the brand with a positive, professional attitude at all times What We're Looking For Highly outgoing and enthusiastic personality —you enjoy talking to people Passion for craft beer and alternative fermentations Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kegs or cases when needed Must meet California alcohol service requirements (RBS certification if required) Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a taproom, brewery, bar, or restaurant Basic knowledge of beer styles, brewing, or fermentation Familiarity with POS systems Why Join Us Fun, social, community-driven environment Opportunity to grow within the craft beverage industry Hands-on exposure to unique and alternative fermentation products Flexible scheduling with growth potential
