Monday-Friday Hours:
Approx. 20-30 hrs/week About the Role We are a private family seeking a full-time Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-run home. This is primarily a housekeeping position , with the added need for someone who is comfortable around children and able to assist with light supervision and engagement when needed.
Schedule:
Monday 3:30-7:30pm Tuesday 1-7:30pm Weds 3:30-7:30pm Thursday 1-7:30pm Friday 3:30-730pm Saturday off Sunday off Sample summer schedule may switch around the longer days and shorter days depending on our schedule that week. Responsibilities Primary Focus -
Housekeeping:
Full home cleaning (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces) Laundry, folding, and light ironing Trash and recycling Maintaining organization and overall household upkeep Keeping the home running smoothly day-to-day Occasional errands or household support tasks Secondary -
Child-Friendly Support:
Be present and attentive around two young children Light supervision to ensure safety Engage in casual play or interaction as needed Assist with small tasks (snacks, tidying up after activities) Travel Requirements Open to occasional travel with the family Annual trips may include Maui and Truckee for a few weeks at a time Travel details provided in advance Ideal Candidate Strong housekeeping experience (this is the primary role) Detail-oriented and takes initiative Reliable, trustworthy, and consistent Comfortable and natural around children Flexible and adaptable to household needs Prior experience in a private home is a plus
