Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality hospitality experience by delivering exceptional cleaning services with precision and care. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to meet cleanliness standards. Handle chemical agents safely, following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces with attention to detail. Use industrial cleaning equipment and floor care tools to ensure all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen supplies, cleaning equipment, or furniture repositioning while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial/custodial roles within hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care processes. Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality service. Prior hotel experience is preferred; knowledge of hotel emergency procedures is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
