Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed rigorously to promote health and safety within the premises. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing to maintain operational efficiency. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling or coordinating cleaning routines in larger facilities or hotels. Experience Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards. Prior hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service excellence. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools. Knowledge of laundry procedures including stain removal, fabric care, and proper handling of linens. Experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus for leadership roles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respond positively to resident or guest needs. Previous janitorial or custodial experience demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to hygiene standards.
