Job Description
Job Summary HSS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment within our facilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing exceptional custodial and cleaning services. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in cleaning, floor care, and hospitality environments, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail in every task. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care procedures. Handle laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow safety protocols during cleaning processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment. Use industrial cleaning equipment effectively for deep cleaning tasks when required. Assist with janitorial duties across various areas to uphold hygiene standards in all facilities. Manage custodial supplies inventory and report shortages or maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Experience Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing. Experience with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools. Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in all tasks.
