About the Role As a Housekeeper, you are an essential part of the guest experience and a key ambassador of our luxury brand standards. You ensure every guest room and suite reflects the highest level of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort, creating a space that feels both pristine and welcoming. What You'll Do Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to luxury-level cleanliness and presentation standards Ensure beds, linens, and in-room amenities are perfectly arranged and visually consistent Deliver thoughtful, detail-oriented service that anticipates guest expectations Respect guest privacy and follow established room entry protocols at all times Identify and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or service opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and service spaces Support laundry operations, including linen handling and supply replenishment Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover while maintaining quality What You Bring Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred (luxury hotel experience is a plus) A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation A professional, courteous demeanor with a guest-first mindset Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment Strong reliability, organization, and time management skills A desire to contribute to a collaborative team focused on excellence Schedule & Expectations Flexible schedule based on operational needs, including mornings, weekends, and holidays Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting Must present a professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standard Benefits & Perks Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits Basic life insurance 401(k) with auto-enrollment after 60 days Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave and holidays• Why Oceana Hotel Oceana Santa Monica offers a boutique environment where quality is prioritized over quantity, and every detail matters.
