Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Houseperson, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness, ensuring floor care excellence, and assisting with overall property upkeep. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Conduct detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Assist with replenishing supplies such as linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues, inventory needs, or safety hazards promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored according to safety protocols. Help with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to ensure the property remains in top condition. Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service and foster a positive environment for guests and staff alike. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments will be advantageous but not mandatory.
