Beach Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors in common areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A background in hospitality is advantageous, showcasing a commitment to guest satisfaction.
