Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and safe. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while performing cleaning duties to create a secure environment for everyone. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or similar hospitality settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
