Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE
Under maintenance operations manager supervision, the housekeeping staff performs all cleaning and sanitizing of clinics. Including floors, walls, desks, phones, bathrooms, kitchens, empty trash inside and outside, MAINRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Sanitizing furniture, door handles, light switches, bathrooms, and other building fixtures daily Sweep and damp mop all floors daily. Empty trash receptacles daily and replace bags as necessary. Clean up bodily fluids as necessary. Plunge toilets as needed. Keep track and order supplies as needed. Vacuum all carpeted areas daily. Clean inside and outside windows as needed. Restock soap and hand towels as needed. Spot clean carpet as needed. Documents their schedules of cleaning via check of list Other duties as assigned by supervisor.QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS

Good Communication skills Knowledge of proper cleaning solutions Ability to maintain good relationship with management staff Ability to operate all types of cleaning tools. Be able to safely use cleaning chemicals.COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS
Must have neat and legible handwriting Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly Ability to communicate well with the publicPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Works well with patients in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirements: Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, and twist Must be able to hear staff on phone and speak clearly to communicate information Must be able to climb a ladder. Must be able to work safely inside buildings. Must be prepared to drive to any clinic to perform a specific task.PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
