Job Description

$18-$22/hr | About 10 hours/week | Northern Colorado The city loves people while they're building. Producing. Winning. It becomes less certain what to do with them afterward. Some people become harder to help. They move slower. They repeat themselves. They need more patience than they used to. The Assignment Show up. Stay awhile. Listen to stories. Some you've heard before. Some nobody else hears anymore. Help with meals. Help with light housekeeping. Drink coffee together. Take a short walk. Help someone remain themselves a little longer. Who This Role Was Built For People who don't look away. People who understand that everyone falls apart eventually. People willing to show patience when patience is no longer easy. Especially seniors willing to support other seniors. One Honest Detail Sometimes someone needs help using the bathroom.
If that happens:
We train you. We prepare you. We match comfort level. We match gender preference. Nothing unexpected. Nothing forced. What This Job Is Not Not medical care. Not lifting. Not rushing between houses. Not being treated like a number. This is one relationship. One home. One person who notices when you arrive. What Actually Happens When You Do This Work Someone gets to stay in their home longer. Someone keeps telling their stories. Someone has another reason to get dressed in the morning. Someone learns they haven't been forgotten. The city doesn't always notice these victories. The people you help do.
Before You Apply Answer honestly:
When someone begins to struggle, do you move toward them or away from them? If you move toward them, you're exactly who we're looking for. Apply now.
