Job Description

Houseman / Maintenance Assistant We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Houseman / Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position helps keep the property clean, safe, and well-maintained for our guests and staff. Duties include cleaning public areas, assisting with outdoor upkeep, taking trash to the dumpster, helping the Maintenance Manager with projects, and assisting with any other tasks that come up during the day.
Job Duties Include:
Cleaning and maintaining public areas, hallways, lobby, restrooms, and other guest spaces Keeping outdoor areas clean and presentable Taking trash and recycling to the dumpster Assisting the Maintenance Manager with basic maintenance tasks and projects Helping housekeeping or front desk when needed Helping Guests when needed Responding to property needs as they arise Following safety procedures and reporting any maintenance concerns The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and punctual Willing to help wherever needed Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, bending, walking, and being on your feet Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping the property clean and welcoming Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Pay:
$18.75 - $20.00 per hour
