Housekeeper

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Residence Inn New Haven - Hamden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked to provide a pleasant experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities :

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies per Marriott Brand Standards. Clean and maintain public areas, such as hallways, restrooms, and lobbies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Handle guest requests for additional amenities or services in a friendly and efficient manner. Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional cleanliness and service.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting is a plus, but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards. Friendly and professional demeanor. Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks. Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types:

$16.50 - $17.00 per hour
