Friday & Saturday, Sunday 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Possibility to extend the schedule/hours if the right fit to include Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 pm

Compensation:

$50/hr.

POSITION OVERVIEW A

gracious, active elderly couple in Westport, Connecticut is seeking a skilled, experienced live-out Household Manager, Cook, and Driver. This is a hands-on, high-functioning role for someone who takes genuine pride in running a home beautifully — managing the details of daily life so that the principals can live comfortably and independently. The ideal candidate brings real culinary ability, excellent organizational instincts, and experience supporting older adults with discretion and respect for their autonomy. Principals need light personal attention. What they really want is a capable, self-directed pro who anticipates, runs the house quietly, and stays present without hovering.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cooking & Meal Preparation Prepare daily meals: lunch between 1:00-2:00 PM; dinner between 7:00-8:00 PM (primarily chicken and fish with vegetables) Shop for groceries and specialty items; maintain a well-stocked kitchen Plan weekly menus with the principals' preferences and dietary needs in mind Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the day Driving & Errands Drive to medical appointments, hair salon, and other personal appointments Handle local errands: grocery runs, pharmacy, dry cleaning, and similar tasks Household Management & Light Housekeeping Oversee and coordinate day-to-day household operations for a large estate Handle laundry and light tidying; coordinate with the existing Housekeeper (3 days/week) Manage household supplies, track needs, and handle logistics proactively Liaise with vendors or service providers as needed

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving locally Clear spoken English; basic technology skills Reliable, discreet, and professional Solid home cooking skills — confident preparing fresh, wholesome meals daily Experience running a private household, ideally for older adults Self-directed and proactive — able to manage a full day independently without constant direction Warm and respectful of personal boundaries; understands the importance of privacy and independence
