Tasks include but not limited to: Ensure the cleanliness of the hospital including common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming hospital and office floors Laundry Trash collection Restocking supplies Cleaning hospital grounds including dog walking lot removal of trash, feces and cigarette debris Ensuring cages and runs including drains, grates and padding are cleaned daily and as needed Reporting any broken equipment or hazardous situations to Hospital Manager or other Supervisor Clean public and employee restrooms Clean windows weekly to biweekly or as needed to maintain cleanliness Other hospital cleaning, maintenance projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, and/or experience. Must have housekeeping experience Preferably with experience in commercial housekeeping Able to do tasks that may involve extended periods standing and/or walking Must be able to perform some moderately physically demanding work, involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 50 pounds Ability to work around sick animals, cleaning chemicals, and unpleasant odors
