In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring each visitor experiences the highest standards of hospitality. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to memorable stays and positive guest experiences, making a real difference every day. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold cleanliness standards. Completely service guest rooms in 30 minutes (15 minutes for Stayovers) or less according to hotel standards. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless and safe flooring throughout the property. Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are neat, tidy, and inviting by conducting regular custodial tasks. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial supplies and industrial cleaning equipment to deliver consistent quality. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain the property's overall appearance. Experience Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with guest service standards. Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings highlights your ability to handle diverse cleaning tasks efficiently. Knowledge of hospitality industry practices ensures understanding of guest privacy and service expectations. Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the department. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential qualities for success in this role.
