Housekeepers, Laundry Aides and Floor Tech Job Overview Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers, Laundry Aides and Floor Tech to join our team. These roles are essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors in our skilled nursing facility.

Sunday Shifts:

Day and Evening Shifts Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Follow infection control and safety procedures (OSHA & CDC guidelines) Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry (linens, towels, resident clothing) Distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas Dispose of trash and biohazard materials properly Maintain cleaning supplies and report low inventory Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and spills Ensure residents' rooms remain neat and organized Operate and maintain floor care equipment Perform floor care duties including, buffing, scrubbing and polishing floors Qualifications Previous housekeeping, laundry, and floor tech experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting a plus) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, pull, and push carts throughout shift Knowledge of infection control practices preferred Must pass background check per Florida regulations What We offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (Vacation) Earned Sick Leave 401(k) retirement plan Paid Holidays Termed Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance Supplemental Insurance Work Environment Nursing home / long-term care facility Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Direct impact on resident comfort and care Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
