Part Time and Full Time Opportunities Available Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior work experience in housekeeping or laundry position preferred. Employer conducts background checks, drug testing, and reference check. Summary The room attendant cleans rooms and halls in hotels, restaurants, and meeting rooms by performing the following duties. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Makes beds. Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies. Checks wraps and renders personal assistance to patrons. Moves furniture, hangs drapes and rolls carpet. Cleans lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways. Sweeps, scrubs waxes, and polishes floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture. Washes windows, door panels, sills, A/Cs and filters. Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Competencies/skills 1. Work Environment This job operates in public spaces. This role routinely uses standard cleaning equipment, supplies and chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam and noise. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to regularly stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
