Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will ensure every guest experiences a spotless stay, reflecting our high standards of hospitality and service. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, carpets, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and well-maintained. Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and supplies to provide guests with a complete experience. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold the hotel's inviting atmosphere. Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution. Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security procedures, and customer service standards. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or similar hospitality settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or supplies. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial supplies is advantageous. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
