Housekeeping Public Area Cleaner

Cleans public areas and meetings spaces and/or other assigned areas in a timely and organized manner to ensure guest satisfaction per BMC company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides cleaning services to office areas, public areas and restrooms by mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning and dusting Validates toilet paper, soap and paper towel are stocked in restrooms Ensures towel and waste baskets are emptied regularly Responds to and follow through on guest requests, concerns and problems Reports all safety hazards or concerns timely Ensures that meeting rooms are cleaned per company standard Communicates daily by utilizing provided radios Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1 year housekeeping experience preferred

Physical Demands:

To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The individual frequently works in both an indoor and outdoor climate and is frequently exposed to chemicals.
