Job Description

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to brand and company standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, replenishing amenities, and reporting maintenance issues.

This role plays a critical part in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. You will be focused on optimizing each guest's experience by living out our company purpose: "hospitality from our family to yours."
Job Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms in accordance with Naples Hotel Group and brand standards. Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, making beds, and restocking amenities. Ensure bathrooms are sanitized and all furnishings are clean and in good condition. Maintain a fully stocked housekeeping cart with the appropriate products and supplies needed for daily assignments. Report the status of cleaned rooms promptly and accurately to the Executive Housekeeper or Front Desk. Report any maintenance issues, room damage, or supply shortages immediately. Greet all guests encountered during the shift with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary. Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found items. Ensure key security and confidentiality of guest and company information at all times. Comply with all safety policies, including emergency procedures and equipment handling. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions immediately. Complete all required safety training and certifications. Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to meet evolving business demands.
Job Qualifications:
Prior experience working in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel needs.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds independently. This position requires being on your feet for the majority of the shift, involving frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and repetitive use of arms and hands. Must be able to climb stairs and navigate around the property throughout the shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain productive under pressure.
