Job Description

Job description: Housekeeper Needed A warm and welcoming family in Longwood, FL is seeking a full-time housekeeper to support their 8,000 sq. ft. home, working 35-40 hours per week. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive, who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-functioning household.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience as a housekeeper, house manager, or in a similar private household role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. Trustworthy, dependable, and respectful of household privacy. Must be pet-friendly and free of allergies (home has 1 dog and 2 cats). Willingness to take on varied household tasks and adapt as needs change. Child-friendly and comfortable assisting with family routines. Basic cooking or meal prep skills are a plus.

  • Friday, 8:00 am
  • 4:00 pm Monday
  • Friday, 9:00 am
  • 5:00 pm Primary responsibilities include: Daily cleaning and upkeep of all living spaces to maintain a polished, welcoming home.
Deep cleaning tasks on a regular schedule (e.g., bathrooms, floors, windows). Laundry care, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting items away. Organizing closets, pantries, and household storage spaces. Light meal prep and/or simple family-style cooking. Running small errands (e.g., grocery shopping, dry cleaning). Providing pet care support (feeding, cleaning pet areas, assisting with general upkeep). Helping with occasional family tasks, such as ensuring children's items are ready for school or activities The ideal candidate works with efficiency and attention to detail. Is proactive and self-sufficient, with excellent problem-solving skills. Takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in a large household. Has a warm, family-oriented demeanor and enjoys contributing to a smooth-running home. Family is looking to hire asap.
