In this vital role, you will ensure that guest environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming by performing a variety of custodial and maintenance duties. Your proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional guest experience, fostering comfort and satisfaction at every turn. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by following established protocols and understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to prevent accidents or contamination Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with manual handling best practices Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met consistently Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to safety incidents or urgent situations Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience within a hospitality or industrial setting is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks Experience with hotel housekeeping management or overseeing janitorial staff is advantageous Knowledge of operating laundry equipment Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong understanding of hospitality service principles enhances guest satisfaction through meticulous upkeep Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms guest spaces into pristine retreats.
