What you'll do Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards. Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are safe and visually appealing. Collaborate with housekeeping management to address any special requests or urgent cleaning needs from guests or staff. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Monitor supplies and report inventory needs to ensure all cleaning materials are readily available. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries or concerns regarding public spaces. Assist in training new team members on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage. Basic qualifications Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
