Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties. CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
This position assist the DSP staff to meet all direct care needs of the residents and to ensure the housekeeping needs of the facility are met.
Essential Duties:
Assist Direct Support Professional staff to meet all direct care needs of the residents. These include but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral hygiene, grooming, lifting and feeding. Implement and document training needs including programming data collection and behavior observations Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment tools and supplies are properly stored, keep floors clean, dry and free of unnecessary equipment to prevent accidents. Follow daily shift assignment schedule for cleaning and housekeeping duties, conduct daily rounds of all bedrooms and deliver clean linen and housekeeping supplies daily to each building. Maintain residents' closets/drawers in organized manner. Maintain personal supplies box and ensure all items are properly labeled.
Required Qualification:
Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent education is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Six (6) months experience
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18.15
Hourly Working Conditions:
Frequent bending, Lifting and standing Constant noise environments
Required Materials:

Background Checks:
A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position.
