Saturdays Only Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to assist with high-volume turnover at our timeshare resort on Saturdays. This is an independent contractor position, ideal for individuals looking for consistent weekend work. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest units to resort standards in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities:
- Clean and fully reset guest units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
- Ensure units meet cleanliness and presentation standards before completion
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to Housekeeping Inspector
- Complete assigned units within required timeframes
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel/resort experience a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Must have full availability on Saturdays; housekeepers should not schedule other appointments that would interfere with completing assigned units
- Must maintain quality standards and not rush through rooms in order to leave early or attend other commitments
Compensation:
- Housekeepers paid per unit cleaned (rate discussed upon hire)
- Cash payment provided at the end of each Saturday
- All work is performed as an independent contractor (1099)
- All assigned units must be completed to inspection standards and authorized by Housekeeping Inspectors prior to payment
