Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience pristine cleanliness and comfort. Duties Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance Sort, load, and unload laundry materials with care, adhering to proper handling procedures for delicate fabrics and heavy items Manage materials handling tasks such as transporting linens and uniforms throughout the facility using manual lifting techniques and carts Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly to uphold safety standards in production environments Monitor machine operations for malfunctions or issues, reporting any maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and ensuring proper storage of clean linens and materials Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials handling procedures in a production setting Experience with laundry operations, including industrial dryers and dry cleaning processes preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following safety standards in production environments Familiarity with safety protocols related to manual handling and equipment operation Attention to detail to ensure all laundry is processed accurately and efficiently Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a customer-focused attitude Join us in delivering exceptional service through meticulous laundry care!
