Reports To:

Executive Clinical Director / Office Manager Palm City Wellness is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of our residential treatment facility. The Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and therapeutic environment for clients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate professionalism, and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and respect within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, bathrooms, kitchen areas, bedrooms, laundry areas, and other assigned spaces. Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to facility standards. Ensure bathrooms are stocked, clean, and sanitary. Assist with laundry, linens, towels, and bedding as needed. Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility. Support routine deep-cleaning tasks and seasonal cleaning needs. Notify leadership of any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, supply needs, or damaged items. Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality when working in a residential treatment environment. Avoid disruption of client care, groups, clinical services, and daily programming while completing cleaning duties. Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and appropriately.

Qualifications:

Prior housekeeping, cleaning, residential, healthcare, or facility maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks thoroughly. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Professional, respectful, and appropriate communication with staff and clients. Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with facility expectations. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and complete physical cleaning tasks during scheduled shifts. Must comply with all Palm City Wellness onboarding, background screening, and training requirements.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in a healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, hospitality, or similar setting. Knowledge of basic sanitation, infection control, and safe use of cleaning products.

Work Environment:

Palm City Wellness is a private residential treatment facility serving individuals receiving mental health and/or substance use treatment. The Housekeeper is expected to help maintain a clean, safe, respectful, and healing environment consistent with the mission and standards of the facility.
