Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for our guests and staff alike. Your energy and dedication will ensure that all areas of the property are spotless, well-organized, and functioning smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard hospitality experience by delivering exceptional cleaning, maintenance, and custodial services with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas to uphold cleanliness standards Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance to ensure a spotless environment Assist with hotel operations by setting up meeting rooms, replenishing supplies, and supporting housekeeping staff as needed Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them promptly Support industrial cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives to maintain hygiene in all areas Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning materials Maintain a high level of hospitality by greeting guests courteously and responding promptly to their needs Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and carpet cleaning Prior hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy supplies and standing for extended periods Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where cleanliness meets excellence!
