Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant La Quinta Inns & Suites by Wyndham - 3.4 Plantation, FL Job Details From $15 an hour 1 day ago Full Job Description About us La Quinta Inns & Suites by Wyndham is a small business in Plantation, FL. We are rewarding, engaging and fun.

Flexible working hours Safe work environment On-the-job training Relaxed atmosphere Growth opportunities Lively atmosphere We are in need of a Housekeeper who will also do some days Laundry, who is passionate about keeping the laundry facilities clean, organized and tidy. The successful candidate will be responsible for folding and sorting laundry, cleaning laundry equipment and maintaining a clean environment for customers and guests to use the laundry facilities.
Responsibilities:
Collect and clean clothes according to company standards. Sort and wash clothes. Employees should be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Operate a punch press machine with speed of at least 2000 sheets per hour. Have knowledge of U.S. laws and regulations. Wear standard work clothing (uniform). Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use. Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Replenish chemical bottles. Clean room with the door closed according to standards, unless requested to do otherwise by the guest. Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed (if applicable). Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.

From $15.00 per hour
