Sterilization Technician & Office Cleaning Specialist Employment Type:
Full-time Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician who will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office. This dual-role position is essential to ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sterilization Duties:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves) Track and document sterilization cycles and logs Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and notify management of shortages
Office Cleaning Duties:
Perform routine cleaning of office spaces, including treatment rooms, restrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed Dispose of trash and medical waste in accordance with regulations Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in sterilization, janitorial, or healthcare settings preferred Knowledge of infection control procedures is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Dependable and punctual
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to [insert weight] pounds Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working in a fast-paced environment
