Job Description
Position Overview The Houseman provides essential support to the housekeeping department by transporting linens, assisting room attendants, and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas. This role is key to ensuring rooms are ready on time and guests enjoy a seamless experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. Key Responsibilities Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest amenities to housekeeping staff Collect and transport soiled linens and trash to the laundry or designated disposal areas Assist room attendants in cleaning and preparing guest rooms as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas Stock housekeeping carts with supplies and equipment Ensure public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces are clean and orderly Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team Support the team with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel procedures
