Day shift Houseperson

Carlisle Inn, Sarasota A Houseman is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting room attendants, delivering supplies, and ensuring guests experience a clean, organized, and comfortable environment throughout the hotel.

Free on duty Buffet meal DHG Discounts - on meals/merchandise/lodging Annual vacation bonus Wooden Nickels On-the-job training Flexible schedules Scholarship program Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, stairways, elevators, and public restrooms Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and polish fixtures Remove trash and replace liners in public areas Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest supplies to floors Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area Assist with moving beds or furniture when needed Restock housekeeping carts and storage rooms Deliver guest requests (extra beds, cribs, rollaway beds, amenities) Handle light maintenance reporting (report damages or safety issues) Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies Ensure storage areas remain clean and organized Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) Good physical stamina and attention to detail Basic communication skills Skills & Competencies Teamwork and cooperation Time management Reliability and punctuality Customer service orientation Ability to work independently Job Type Full-Time position.
