Housekeeper for Apartment Community

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and recreational spaces to ensure they are spotless and inviting. Clean individual apartments upon vacancy or as scheduled, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, waxing, and deep cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle custodial tasks with precision—empty trash receptacles, restock supplies, clean windows and mirrors, and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to uphold the community's aesthetic standards. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and use appropriate equipment for industrial cleaning or commercial-grade tasks. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed in communal areas or individual units to ensure swift resolution. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or facilities maintenance within residential or commercial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently with attention to detail. Familiarity with residential painting or light maintenance work is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning assignments effectively. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly while adhering to health and safety standards.
