Job Summary Join us as a Housekeeping Staff member for our exciting 4th of July celebration! Duties Perform thorough cleaning of event spaces, including floors, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring they are spotless and inviting. Handle chemical cleaning agents following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to ensure safe usage and storage. Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy cleaning equipment and moving furniture or supplies as needed. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve surface quality. Support hotel housekeeping management by coordinating cleaning schedules and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during the event, including responding to spills or hazards swiftly. Use janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for custodial work. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices enhances your ability to meet high standards of cleanliness. Experience with chemical agent handling and understanding safety data sheets (SDS) ensures safe work practices. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety is essential for managing supplies and equipment. Background in hotel experience or hospitality settings demonstrates your ability to deliver excellent service in dynamic environments. Understanding hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness for any unforeseen situations during the event. Prior industrial cleaning or custodial experience supports efficient task execution in a fast-paced event setting.
