Lead Housekeeper

Housekeeper Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Team Lead Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. The Team Lead Housekeeper will ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. The Team Lead Housekeeper will manage and ensure housekeeping staff completing assigned tasks.

Duties:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Team Lead Housekeeper or similar role with experience of managing staff
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Florida Regulations to ensure compliance
• High school diploma is a plus
