Job Description

TEAM MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to accept the most effective role. Function as a representative of the Korman culture and standards to all Team Members and our residents. Maintains regular attendance in compliance with the Korman standards. Approach all encounters with residents and Team Members in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Promotes a safe, secure and healthy work environment. Maintains Resident/guest privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information. Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your role. Adheres to AKA Image Requirements policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleans resident rooms and resident areas, including, but not limited to; stripping/making beds; removing garbage; dusting and vacuuming; cleaning bathrooms; replenishing supplies; cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios (where applicable). Inventories condition of room furnishings using the AKA Furnished Inventory and Condition Checklist as needed; communicates to immediate Supervisor and/or designated team member any damage caused by the resident or reports items that need to be repaired. Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets. Consistently maintains the same AKA standards and presentation of the resident rooms. Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to supervisor. Maintains a stocked and organized cart while maintaining tools and equipment clean and orderly. Brings Lost and Found items to Supervisor/Manager to be logged in the Lost & Found system. Communicates with residents and Team Members in a professional and friendly manner in compliance with AKA service standards. Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS
Demonstrated energetic, self-motivated with a "can do" positive attitude. Proficiency in English (written and oral) preferred. Preferred background in Housekeeping.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent. Flexibility with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Meticulous attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Able to push/pull up to 50 pounds as needed. Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours. Able to work with chemicals.
