Housekeeper (Part-Time)

Clean assigned rooms to the standard of the supervisor in the appropriate time set below Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart that needs to be stocked daily. Be respectful of others, make sure everyone has towels and all other items on the cart. Clean assigned common areas to the standard of the Housekeeping Manager and General Manager and at the appropriate time set by the Housekeeping Manager. Assist other housekeepers, if your assigned rooms and assignments are completed, before you clean the common areas. No one leaves before everyone has finished, unless otherwise instructed by the Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager. Make sure linens (bed sheets, covers, towels, etc.) are free of stains, holes, and discoloration. Log all lost and found items and leave them in the designated area. Report any and all maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager. Ensure all rooms are stocked neatly, including the tags not showing in towels, and all amenities are straight and visibly professional. Ensure all housekeeping is conducted according to Choice Hotel standards. Ensure the following time limits are complied with:

Checkouts:

25-30 minutes;

Stayovers:

15-20 minutes; and

Common Areas:

20-30 minutes Conduct laundry, breakfast assistance, extra cleaning in rooms (deep cleaning), and light maintenance work when assigned. Know all amenities that belong within the room, rollaway beds are to be made (mattress pad, sheets, blanket, pillow) and returned to designated area after each use. Be able to physically bend, stand, reach, lift, and push; read and follow verbal and written instructions; follow processes and procedures in Employee Handbook.
