The Maintenance Tech at Hotel Indigo Columbus, Georgia plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the hotel's facilities. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a hospitality environment. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades. Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to hotel maintenance. Basic computer skills for logging maintenance requests and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
