In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will ensure our guests enjoy a welcoming and pristine environment throughout their stay. Duties Thoroughly clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by performing routine janitorial tasks. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly to ensure safety during cleaning tasks and manual handling activities. Lift heavy items such as mattresses, furniture, or cleaning equipment safely in accordance with safety protocols. Follow established cleaning procedures using commercial cleaning products to meet health and safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or commercial setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures related to heavy lifting and manual handling is advantageous. Experience using personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks ensures safety compliance. Knowledge of commercial cleaning products and methods helps maintain high standards of hygiene. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively in a busy environment is essential.
