Housekeeping Aid (Leader)

Inspects assigned work area to evaluate cleaning needs: determine what must be done, what routine equipment and supplies are needed and whether unusual or special equipment or supplies are needed. Work is performed in accordance with established housekeeping and aseptic techniques.

A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards .

Note :

A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Physical effort is used in moving furniture, setting up ladders and using heavy cleaning equipment. Frequently, employee must move objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally move objects weighing 50 pounds.
