In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your energetic approach and dedication will ensure every guest experiences a spotless, inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to care for floors, carpets, upholstery, and fixtures with precision and care. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with inventory management by monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial tasks. Knowledge of hotel operations or hospitality industry practices enhances your ability to meet guest expectations effectively. Experience managing housekeeping tasks or leading a team demonstrates strong organizational skills in housekeeping management roles. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
