reviews $15 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through expert gardening, lawn care, and landscaping practices. Your work will ensure that properties remain visually appealing, healthy, and well-kept, supporting our commitment to excellence in outdoor environment management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and the use of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality results consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to uphold aesthetic standards Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and plant health Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, digging, and other landscaping activities Apply gardening techniques to promote healthy growth of lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pests or disease and address them promptly Assist with landscape design projects by preparing sites and planting new greenery Maintain equipment by cleaning, repairing, and scheduling regular servicing Support seasonal planting activities and soil preparation to optimize plant vitality Collaborate with team members to develop innovative landscaping solutions that meet client needs Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during all maintenance activities
Qualifications:
Proven experience in irrigation systems installation and maintenance Strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and horticulture practices Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks Knowledge of landscaping principles including soil preparation, planting techniques, and pest management Ability to operate equipment safely while adhering to safety standards Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients as needed This position offers an opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments to contribute meaningfully to our landscape projects.
