In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring a pristine environment that enhances guest satisfaction. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and comfortable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in hotel operations while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest uniforms according to established standards. Ensure all laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and stored properly to maintain quality and presentation. Assist with the collection of soiled linens from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely pickup and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sorting stations, machines, and storage spaces. Support the housekeeping team by providing clean linens promptly to meet guest requests and operational needs. Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating laundry machinery to ensure a safe work environment. Perform routine inspections of laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels need replenishing. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
