Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Associate and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across our Class-A outlet mall. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that all spaces are pristine, well-maintained, and inviting for visitors, and staff alike. This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities while developing valuable skills in maintenance and cleaning operations. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Vaccum, sweep and mop floors as required Clean spills using appropriate equipment and procedures Clean and stock supply closets, launder housekeeping mobs, rags, etc. Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure hygienic environments Assist with custodial responsibilities ensuring all spaces meet health and safety standards including collection and disposal of trash; porter grounds Support facilities maintenance activities such as hardscape (walkway) management using powered blowers Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively for large-scale cleaning projects or specialized tasks Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any maintenance issues encountered for accountability and reporting purposes Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is a plus Ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Prior experience in housekeeping or porter roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Ability to work weekends, nights and select holidays required Provide customer service to guests and tenants Pre-employment background check and drug screening required. Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
