Job Summary The Public Area Attendant is responsible to keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris. They create the firstst and lasting impression for our guests when entering and leaving our property. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately Cleans all slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, and offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, office, or common areas. Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur. Clean any biohazardous materials when it occurs. Remove trash from the trash container and place it into dumpsters. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Need High school diploma or GED equivalent Prior professional cleaning experience preferred Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
