Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces. Restock amenities like toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning products to ensure efficiency and safety. Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with guests and team members, upholding the hotel's service standards. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the hotel's hygiene standards. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Familiarity with hotel operations and experience in hospitality environments is highly desirable. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality control. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
