Room Attendant/housekeeper

Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property. Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces with efficiency and care. Follow established procedures for waste disposal, linen handling, and restocking amenities to uphold hygiene standards. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly. Use industrial cleaning equipment responsibly to ensure thorough cleaning while adhering to safety protocols. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control, training new staff, or implementing cleaning procedures as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet extraction methods. Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies used in commercial or hotel settings. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks within scheduled shifts. Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required.
